Hello Denver!

After the two days driving in questionable weather, I made it into Denver to my AirBnB. The host was so welcoming and helpful and helped me lug my two duffle bags, ski bag, AND suitcase up to to the carriage house. The place was immaculate - so clean, bright, and comfortable. If you’re traveling to Denver, I’d absolutely recommend Tom’s place - it was clean, had snacks, and the bed was so comfortable after driving across the middle third of the US. It was also in a great location and easy to get to the light rail, groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, really anything!

I spent the first day resting, recovering, and reorganizing my gear. After looking at my life in bags in a pile in the living room/kitchen of the carriage house, I knew I needed to shift how I was approaching lugging everything around. I had gotten COVID a few weeks before the trip and although not contagious by the time of travel, the drive and my body were still worn out. I cooked, relaxed, and looked up things to do and checked in with my former co-worker who I would meet up with the next day for some goat yoga with Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga.
